Hexagon bolts, setscrews and nuts
Hexagon bolts are the most widely used fastener in construction, engineering and manufacturing. PTS stocks full-thread (DIN 933) and part-thread (DIN 931) hexagons in A2 (304) and A4 (316), M1.0 through M56 and the full imperial range, all held in UK stock. Where stainless has to match carbon-steel strength, BUMAX® reaches 800, 1,100 and 1,400 MPa tensile.
Fully threaded setscrews (DIN 933) suit most fastening into tapped holes; part-threaded bolts (DIN 931) give a plain shank where the joint loads in shear. Pair with DIN 934 nuts and DIN 125 washers of the same grade — mixing A2 and A4 in one joint wastes the upgrade. For high-strength stainless duties, BUMAX® 88 and 109 reach carbon-steel classes 8.8 and 10.9 in 316-base material.
From M1.0 to M56 and the full imperial range, PTS hexagons ship from UK stock with batch-level traceability, PMI and EN 10204 3.1 certificates on request, and same-day dispatch before 4:30pm.
