Precision Technology Supplies Ltd (PTS) is committed to making pts-uk.com accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web.

We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is the standard recommended by the UK Government Digital Service for public-facing websites.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA covers four principles: content should be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR). Our website has been designed and built with these principles in mind.

• All new page designs are reviewed for contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for body text), keyboard navigation, and focus visibility before publication.
• Interactive controls include appropriate ARIA labels and roles.
• Form fields have associated labels and descriptive error messages.
• Images used for content carry descriptive alt text.
• We use semantic HTML elements (<main>, <nav>, <header>, <footer>) to support screen reader navigation.
• Page language is declared (lang="en") so assistive technologies apply the correct language rules.

We know there are some areas that are not fully accessible. We are working to fix these:

• Product specification PDFs — some older datasheets and certificates of conformity may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are working through the back catalogue. If you need an accessible version, please contact us.
• Complex data tables — some multi-dimensional product dimension tables (for example, pitch vs. thread combinations) may be difficult to navigate by screen reader. We are exploring better presentation formats.
• Third-party content — embedded maps and some external brand assets are outside our direct control. We link to supplier accessibility policies where available.
• Live pricing JavaScript — the VAT and quantity-break price recalculation on product pages requires JavaScript. Users with scripts disabled will see the default (Ex VAT) price but will not see live updates.
