About BUMAX® hexagon bolts

BUMAX® is Swedish-made ultra-high-strength stainless: it matches carbon-steel property classes 8.8 and 10.9 while keeping full stainless corrosion resistance, and reaches grade 17.9 in BUMAX ULTRA.

The corrosion resistance is A4’s; the strength is about three times it — standard A4 runs near 500 MPa, BUMAX® 88 reaches 800 and 109 reaches 1,100.

Where they are used

Offshore and subsea, rail, wind energy, defence, pressure equipment — any joint where carbon-steel strength and stainless durability are both required.
